According to experts, Sri Lanka is among the rare places in the world where you can observe marine turtles in their natural surroundings. Sri Lanka is a natural habitat for five of the world's seven sea turtle species, namely the green, loggerhead, hawksbill, olive ridley, and leatherback, all coming to the shore to lay their eggs.
